About Traumatic Illness

A traumatic illness is best described as an illness that strikes suddenly, causes great financial and/or emotional hardship, and changes the life of the survivor and their family in a profound way.

The best way to start your recovery is to educate yourself and your loved ones. It’s hard to explain how your illness has affected you emotionally without really understanding how it’s affecting you physically, so we’ve compiled a list of sites that can help you gain some perspective on this new phase of your life.

We wish you well, always.
